Sherman Castle Park

Castle Park is a family amusement center located in the heart of the San Fernando Valley. It's a large facility with three 18 hole miniature golf courses, an arcade, and several other fun things to do. While it may be hard to beat Disneyland for amusement park thrills, this one does offer an impressive set of amenities at a reasonable price. Whether you are a local looking for an affordable date night or a tourist in town for the weekend, this is the place to be. Located near the 101 freeway and the 405 freeway, this is a great spot to spend a few hours.

The most obvious choice is to go for the mini golf. You can get in on the mini golf fun for as little as $3 a game. Luckily, there is a plethora of cheap parking options nearby. This may be a good time to plan your family vacation around Castle Park since it's likely to increase in popularity as it grows. Fortunately, the park is well managed and the management is very transparent with its customers.

The mini golf de jour has a few flaws. However, this isn't the fault of the mini golf course itself. The layout is a bit of a mess, but the facilities are clean and the staff is friendly. With that said, the ottawa has its flaws, and the same goes for the adjacent cafeteria, which looks like it has been around for years. Additionally, the burgers and fries aren't very inexpensive. That said, the restaurant does serve some decent grub.

As with any amusement center, the quality of the food can be a little spotty, but the perks are definitely worth the hefty bill. Aside from the golf course, the park is home to an impressive number of attractions, including several laser-based nerd-approved arcade games, a decent sized IMAX theater, an impressive batting cage facility, and several picnic areas. In the end, it's easy to see why this is the most popular family entertainment destination in the San Fernando Valley.

The name of the game here is to provide a genuinely enjoyable experience for everyone. For that reason, this is the place to take your family on an outing that will be remembered for years to come. Despite its shortcomings, Castle Park remains the best family fun center around. Unlike other attractions, this one really does care about its guests. Having a decent facility is important to any Rec and Parks department. They are always looking to improve upon their successes, and this is no exception. Hopefully, Castle Park can maintain that reputation.

Several factors go into making this a top-notch park: a fun, family-oriented environment and the right people at the right times. While it may be too soon to tell, the Park may be ready for its big leap this year. Until then, the most important part of the equation is to stay open and keep the park afloat.
